*2020 Membership Information*
Hello Fellow Members:
Hope this message finds you well.
It is that time of the year to renew our 2020 membership. We have three major types of memberships: Individual, Government Sustaining, and Industry.
1. Individual memberships are $35 annually. Available to renew and pay online.
2. Government Sustaining memberships are generated by FDACS based on 1/10 of one percent (rounded) of the local expenditures for mosquito control two years previously. Currently in progress to send out invoices on or before mid April 2020.
**Directors, Managers, or Abatement Supervisors-you will receive instructions on how to submit your payment and how to provide us with an updated list of members when invoices are available.

3. Industry memberships are $1,000 annually. Available to renew and pay online. Paid invoices will follow within a week.

Dodd Short Courses
February 1st – 5th, 2021
Interested in joining the Dodd Committee?
FMCA is recruiting motivated, passionate and knowledgeable individuals who are interested in being a part of the Dodd Committee. The Committee is dedicated to continuing Glennon Dodd’s vision of developing a comprehensive training program for mosquito control personnel. The Dodd Short Course is one of the largest and most rigorous presentations of continuing education units for mosquito control and public health workers in the county. The Committee is dedicated to maintaining the structure and quality of course offerings annually for one week every winter.

Any knowledgeable FMCA member in good standing is eligible for consideration.
Prospective members must have permission from their employer to participate, as committee membership requires dedication of time and travel.
Must be able to attend and actively participate in three annual planning meetings as well as attend and participate in the week-long Dodd event and completion of various committee tasks.
Members are expected to volunteer and assist with various tasks associated with the operation of the Dodd Short Courses, such as, but not limited to, classroom setup, preparing instructor kits, working registration tables, manning the Dodd Store and other FMCA events throughout the year.
