The 73rd Annual AMCA Conference will be hosted by the FMCA in Orlando, FL from April 1 - 5, 2007. The meeting will be at: The Peabody Orlando 9801 International Drive Orlando, FL   32819 Phone: 1.800.PEABODY Web site: www.peabodyorlando.com

The Peabody room block is sold out.  There are additional rooms at the Peabody outside of the room block rate for $179/night (until 3/10).  The Rosen Centre, across the street from the Peabody has a limited number of rooms at the room rate of $139/night (until 3/16).  Please note that these rates are only good for the next week or so.  Please call soon if you need a room.

AirportTransportation
Adapco will be sponsoring shuttle service from Orlando International Airport to
the Peabody Hotel on April 1 between 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Upon arrival at the
airport, please pick up your luggage at baggage claim and then locate the Mears
Transportation staff on Transportation Level 1 (A Side - Departure Slot 19, B
Side - Departure Slot 16) Staff will be in a Purple shirt holding an “ADAPCO”
sign. There will be 1 shuttle every half hour. Adapco will also be sponsoring
shuttles back to the airport on April 5 between 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Silent Auction 2007
We are rolling out the red carpet for the 2007 Silent Auction! AMCA and Clarke
Mosquito Control are pleased to invite you to “A Night at the Oscars”. All
AMCA Annual Meeting attendees will be invited to attend the Clarke Mosquito
Control Reception and AMCA Silent Auction, to be held on Tuesday, April 3,
2007 at the Peabody Orlando.
We encourage everyone to start thinking about what you can donate to this exciting
event. Items provided in the past have ranged in value from $10 to several
hundred dollars. Popular items in the past have included: books, clothing, jewelry,
photos, regional items, paintings, and anything mosquito or insect related.
Items can be brought to the AMCA registration desk when you arrive at the
meeting. If you would like to ship an item early, you are welcome to send it to
